Vans RV Tour Tues April 14th

THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE RAIN OR SHINE

Black Sheep will be hosting the Vans “Driving the Business” RV Tour Tuesday, April 14th from 4:30 pm until 7:30 pm.

The Vans crew will be on Camden grilling out and giving away FREE hot dogs and waffles. There will be plenty of FREE product giveaways and raffles. Vans Pro Geoff Rowley will also be hanging out and signing autographs, so this will be a great chance to come out and meet him in person.

This is a “Grill and Chill” event and NOT A SKATE DEMO, so kiddies please be sure to LEAVE YOUR BOARDS AT HOME.

Vans Low Cab Vulc- Black, Blue, and Red Suede

We all know that the Half Cab is the most imitated skate shoe ever created. We just got the new vulcanized low top version of this iconic classic– the Vans Low Cab Vulc in three color ways including black, blue, and red. Each include a skateable suede upper with stamped croc/ alligator skin on the side panels and Van’s famous vulcanized white outsole for maximum grip and board feel.

“Laced Up” Recap and Photos

Radar from Kitschworth put together a really fun event last Thursday night. Laced Up had the Camden Crooks bringing some steez and drunken mayhem (mostly the latter) downtown to the Forum. Limited edition kicks were on display from Sheep, Niche, and Puma as well as some tricked out custom Vans from some dope artists. A big “Bear Hug” to the Process Clothing crew for making the trip up from ATL, taking some great Photos and not putting me on Blast for my incoherent drunken rant around 2:00 AM.

Vans x Bad Brains SK8 Hi LE

This new for Spring ‘09 Vans SK8-Hi LE features bright yellow lightning bolts on the side panels paying tribute to an album cover from the seminal Washington, D.C. punk band Bad Brains. Bad Brains were comprised of four African American musicians that in 1977 became one of the first bands to combine elements of hardcore, punk, skate rock, and reggae. Their music rallied against racism and they were ranked #99 on VH1’s 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock.
