Red Bull Manny Mania CLT Web Coverage

Some coverage popping up on the web from last weekend’s Red Bull Manny Mania.

This was an epic weekend with lots of great skating and lots of great friends in town to hang out and rage. Another special thanks to all the homies at Red Bull, SPoT, and all the shops and skaters that showed up for supporting Black Sheep and Charlotte Skateboarding.

Ryan Flynn was in town for the event and has posted some great pics up over at Skateboarder Magazine

Matt Fink ripped it up all day long in the heat and came in first with Scotty Moore and Connor Champion in 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Lots of Black Sheep homies rounding out the top 12 as well, so the locals were definitely ripping it up.

Red Bull Manny Mania @ Black Sheep June 19th, 2010

Black Sheep and Red Bull Skateboarding are teaming up to bring you Red Bull’s Annual Manny Mania Am Contest in Charlotte, NC on Saturday, June 19th, 2010.

The event will take place as part of this year’s Southend Soul Art Festival, and Camden Road will be blocked off to make room for the legendary Red Bull Manny Mania street course.

The contest is Invite Only and the Top Am’s from the Southeast will be traveling to Charlotte to compete.

Think you’ve got what it takes to skate against the best in the Southeast?
Come by the shop and give us your name, contact info, and a link to your best online footage. We’ll pass it along to our homies at the Skatepark of Tampa and they will personally choose a handful of local rippers to compete in the event.

This could be your chance, but don’t delay because final submissions have to go to the SPOT guys by no later than May 21st to be eligible.

Winners from the event will qualify to advance to the Manny Mania World Final held August in New York City where one lucky amateur will win the chance to compete against the world’s top pro’s in the world’s biggest manual skate contest.

Red Bull Skateboarding- Tripp’s Clip !

Red Bull Skateboarding stopped by the shop last week on their way down to Tampa Am. Mark and Tripp showed the crew around town. The legendary Josh Stewart was filming (Static video series) and captured the action. Peep the highlights featuring Joey Brezinski, Ron Deily, Cody Lucas, and a couple of sick tricks from our new shop employee, Tripp Bartlett.

Red Bull Battleship Coverage

This past Saturday (December 13) Red Bull hosted a unique skate contest in Wilmington aboard the USS North Carolina battleship. Eight shops from around the southeast were invited to battle it out. Big ups to Raleigh’s Endless Grind for coming in 3rd.
