National Go Skateboarding Day is June 21 and Black Sheep, vitaminwater and The Southend Field House have teamed up to create a fun and FREE event for all the skaters to enjoy and compete for a chance to win various prizes including a WEEK LONG SCHOLARSHIP TO CAMP WOODWARD!
Come out to the The Southend Field House ( 1327 S. Mint, Charlotte, NC ), Tuesday, June 21 at 1pm to watch or compete in a big Game of SKATE contest and help us celebrate the day with giveaways, food, drinks and a live DJ.
The Game of SKATE contest will be divided into 2 divisions: 17-under and 18-up. There will be prizes provided by DC Shoes, DGK Skateboards, Gold Wheels, and Black Sheep Skate Shop. Plus refreshments and hospitality provided by vitaminwater and The Field House.

The Grand Prize for the under 17 division is a week long scholarship to Camp Woodward (estimated value between $875 - $1095) courtesy of vitaminwater. The winner will receive a certificate and acceptance packet with all the information regarding the prize and a representative from vitaminwater will work with them following the event to follow up on any questions.
The contest will start around 1pm, but feel free to show up a little earlier to sign up and enjoy some free food and drinks.

**ALL participants must sign a waiver to participate. Download the waiver at the link below, fill it out and bring it with you on the day of the contest or fill one out at Black Sheep or during registration at The Field House on the day of the event. Anyone under 18 years old must have a parent present if signing at the event. **
